VERTIGO is an alternative rock band from Berlin and also at home in neighbouring arts.
The alter ego of Tjim Visconti is an actor and director, at home on the theatre stage as well as in front of and behind the camera. New Jersey-born drummer Charlie Perris has already been on the road with various bands in the States and is joining a combo in Germany for the first time. Ole Thomas is a cameraman and has dedicated his life to music, whether through the camera in countless concert documentaries or, as here, on the bass itself.
Together they create a modern alternative sound that could be considered akin to bands like Nirvana and other grunge setups. But that is only a small part of the truth. They cite Joy Division, the Doors and the Wipers as some of their influences.
